Lauren Best explores what she has learned in 15 years of working in arts with tech. We will discuss using technology for the arts including innovation, capacity building, building creative practices and community development.

Lauren Best is a poet, musician, composer and creative living near Georgian Bay, on the territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation. She brings arts engagement to people of all ages using interdisciplinary approaches as a program designer, facilitator, artist-educator, mentor-coach, and performer. Lauren was Owen Sound’s Poet Laureate (2017-2019) with a tenure focused on children.
