The market selection and validation session runs from 2:00 to 5:00pm, followed by a BBQ and networking session from 5:00-7:00pm. Meet with GB Accelerator mentors, business leaders and fellow entrepreneurs. Business leaders, entrepreneurs and partners are welcome to join for the post event networking BBQ from 5:00-7:00pm.
Special Guest Speaker:
Laura Allan is an assistant professor in the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, teaching entrepreneurship and innovation. She has served as the academic director for entrepreneurship, developing the curriculum for the school, as well as the executive director of the Schlegel Centre for Entrepreneurship & Social Innovation, which houses the university’s LaunchPad incubator program. Her greatest interest is in supporting young purpose-driven entrepreneurs to create innovative new products that create a better world. She is currently the AshokaU Changemaker Campus leader and a John Dobson Fellow, and is also the faculty advisor for Laurier's 2x national champion and global runner-up Enactus team.
